Ink and Print Technology
10-colour UltraChrome UV ink: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Grey, Red, White and Varnish, supplied in 1 L bottles. Three 1.33" PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads print at up to 600 x 1200 dpi with a minimum droplet size of 4.2 pl.
Print Bed
The 980 x 700 mm bed can hold two A2 sheets, four A3 sheets or mixed sizes. A multi-zone vacuum and positioning pins hold media firmly in place. Epson UV transfer film workflows also cover curved and irregular surfaces.

Warranty and Support
The printer carries a 1-year onsite warranty covering parts, labour and the printhead, with free onsite service in metro areas (regional locations attract an additional travelling charge). Cover can be extended to up to 5 years with optional Epson CoverPlus (SCV40003Y: 1-yr onsite warranty + 2-yr CoverPlus; SCV40005Y: 1-yr onsite warranty + 4-yr CoverPlus). CoverPlus requires activation of Epson Cloud Solution PORT. Warranty terms depend on correct maintenance and the use of genuine Epson consumables.
UV print quality is highly dependent on media selection. Extensive image testing before purchase is strongly recommended to confirm suitability for your application.
